Lambskin

Norrgavel’s organic lambskin comes from Swedish sheep farmers. The skins are vegetable tanned, making them particularly suitable even for small children – in their pram, for example. Vegetable tanning means, among other things, that the lambskin is free of toxins, such as chromium, which is otherwise commonly used in leather tanning. An organic sheepskin is kept clean through natural ventilation and shaking outdoors. The wool then absorbs oxygen, becomes fluffy and clean. Stubborn stains can be removed by spraying the exposed part of the wool with water, massaging in potato flour, letting it dry and vacuuming or brushing it off.
