Chairs for every occasion – seats for lots of people around the table or a lone chair for the home workstation. What would you like your chair to look like? Birch or oak? Soaped or oiled? Or lacquered in one of our selected colours.
When we first started, we didn’t have a chair in the range at all. The development of the first chair, aptly named “Chair”, took its time, not least because we wanted it to be really comfortable to sit in. To the eye of a skilled joiner, it’s a real jewel and thanks to computer-controlled carpentry tools, its manufacture is incredibly rational. But when it’s assembled, the hand of the carpenter is on every joint.
Try out our harmoniously well-dimensioned chairs and find your favourite. Whatever chair you choose, you can be sure you’ll be taking home a little joinery masterpiece.

How high should my kitchen table chair be?
The height of the kitchen chair should be such that you can sit comfortably at the kitchen table with good support, and that the chair is proportional to the height of the table. A dining chair should have a seat height of around 44-45 cm, which is perfect for a 73-74 cm high dining table. By choosing the right height for your chairs, you can create an ergonomic and cosy dining area in your kitchen.
What material options do you offer for your chairs?
We manufacture our chairs in solid oak or birch, which you can then have sawn or oiled. Or why not painted in tempera or lacquered in one of our selected colours.
How easy are your chairs to clean?
We mainly use open finishes that keep the wood alive. Such surfaces require a certain amount of maintenance, but if you follow our care advice your furniture will have a long life and age beautifully.
How do I choose the right chair for my dining table?
Choosing the right chair for your dining table means taking several factors into account - aesthetics, comfort and functionality. Before choosing chairs, it's important to measure your dining table area to determine how many chairs will fit around the table and to get an idea of the space available for each chair. Also make sure that the seat height of the chairs is optimal for the height of the table. There should be about 30 cm between the seat of the chair and the table surface for maximum comfort.

Wood-coloured or painted dining chair?
It all depends on your taste and the atmosphere you want to create in your kitchen or dining room. A solid wood kitchen chair with an open finish is great if you're looking for a warm and inviting feel in the room, while a painted dining chair can give the room a lively look and act as a lovely contrast to the wooden surfaces of the dining table and other furniture.
