    Repainting

    The repainting service means you receive a piece of furniture that has been completely repainted using spray painting at Norrgavel’s professional paint shop in Lammhult. The work involves light sanding of the furniture to roughen the surface and prepare it for the new paint. Any defects on the furniture (scratches, chips, areas requiring gluing, etc.) can be repaired as an additional service whilst the piece is being repainted. Painting is carried out using your chosen tempera or lacquer colour – choose your favourite colour from our full range of furniture colours.

    Reupholstery

    Does your Norrgavel sofa need reupholstering after all these years, or is it time to replace the cushions? In that case, we first need to know which sofa model it is and the year it was manufactured or ordered (to ensure the upholstery or cushions fit your sofa perfectly). You can easily find the correct information about your sofa model using the order number you were given when you placed your order. If you don’t have the order number, we can still sort it out using detailed photos and measurements.

    Practical information – How to proceed

    If you live near a Norrgavel shop, the shop staff will assist you throughout the entire process – from preparing a quote to arranging delivery of the furniture in question. If you live some distance from your nearest Norrgavel store, you’re very welcome to contact our customer service team: care@norrgavel.com to get a quote for the work you require from Norrgavel furniture restoration, as well as help with booking delivery.

    2. Drop off the piece(s) of furniture to be sent to Norrgavel furniture restoration via your local Norrgavel shop or one of our collection centres – Norrgavel will cover the cost of delivery from the shop or collection centre to the factory. If you live a long way from our shops or collection points, we’ll be happy to help with the delivery, but the delivery cost will then be added to the price.

    3. As soon as the furniture arrives in Lammhult, work begins immediately and we can usually return your refurbished furniture within two weeks. However, some specific jobs may take a little longer.
