Maintenance gel from WOCA Denmark. Used for aftercare and maintenance of oiled wood surfaces, such as furniture, floors and other oiled wood surfaces indoors. The gel is easy to apply, dries quickly and produces a nice, water and dirt-repellent surface. It can be a good idea to use wood cleaner (WOCA Intensive Wood Cleaner) to clean the surface before applying the gel. The maintenance gel can also be used as a surface primer on small, untreated products that are not exposed to much wear (e.g. hook strips). We recommend three coats when using as a primer.

Care advice

Clean the surface with Wood cleaner (Woca Intensive Wood Cleaner). If the fibers of the wood rise, it is recommended to smooth the surface with fine sandpaper.
Apply a small amount of gel to a polishing cloth or sponge and spread it in an even, thin layer on the surface. Continue polishing until the wood appears to be saturated and the surface gives a uniform impression. Work in small areas at a time, as the gel dries quickly.
Immediately wipe the polished surface thoroughly with a clean and dry cotton cloth.
If the wood does not seem fully saturated after 4-6 hours, you may want to polish again, using a smaller amount of gel than in the first treatment, but following the same procedure.
Wait 4–6 hours before you start using the furniture, and avoid dirt and water exposure during the first 2–3 days.
